Mr. Kent has a neat FLEX/6809 system running on FPGA and connected to
the internet. He let me telnet from my CoCo to his FLEX system, and
after some wrinkles with control characters were ironed out, we had
the first (I think) CoCo to FLEX internet session.
Not that it's tremendously exciting, but I took a picture :)

I managed to get his System09 (fpga implementation of a 6809 computer
that can run FLEX) running on the Altera DE1 to a degree.. it runs
the monitor but I never figured out a way to get software loaded via
the serial port, seems it needs some tweaks that are over my head. If
you have one of the other FPGA boards that it works better on, it's a
really nice FLEX implementation.
