... thanks to Gary Becker's awesome work, the Altera DE1 board that I have is running a CoCo 3 in an FPGA at up to 25MHz.  Booting into NitrOS-9 using the DriveWire server is fast and works like a charm.  There is additional work being done on the DriveWire support front.  In any case, this is as close to a real CoCo as you can get.
