I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we're looking forward to finally
meeting with you and hope that you'll bring a coco with your latest version
of drivewire installed!!
As to the members we remember I'd rather celebrate having known them then mourn
our loss. After all this world isn't our proper place and our home is in heaven with
our lord.
In any case I'm looking forward to meeting all my friends at the fest. The weekend goes
by to fast.
Frank
PS - I know that a number of us get to the hotel sometime the friday before the fest. Is
there any interest in arranging an informal get together that would include meeting for
dinner?

And yet, we always manage to pack in so much, seeing old friends, finally being able to put a name to a face in a crowded room. You know how hard it to spot me in a crowd, not being the type that stands out;-]

Enjoying what has become one of the most precious gifts in my life, the gift of have you all as friends. The room will be a little dimmer this year due to the passing on of some of our dear friends. And yet how much richer are our lives for them having had been a part of them.

(I've shared the story many times of my first time driving out to Crestfield manor with young Devin O'Connell. He suddenly reminded me that I was driving on the wrong side, that this was England not American. A quick maneuver got us back into the proper lane. He was shaking like a leaf, hyperventilating. I asked him if he was alright. He looked down at the front of his trousers and meekly said, "Still dry." (An expression they use a lot at the school) He did later share with some of his friends that "I damned near killed us, but if he served as navigator he could keep me safely on course."

They may be lads ages 7-14, but they seemed to have learned a lot and they have been very eager to share it with me. Even better I have learned so much from them. I'll try to behave myself at the Fest and not go on too much about them, but I'll probably fail in that regard.
