[Coco] CTRL key not working in MESS

With everything working the way it does now, after getting MESS setup correctly and getting a custom BOOT that lets me have a HD, I find that CTRL-w does not pause the screen and SHIFT-r-arrow does not redisplay the last command on the command line. This is using the natural setting for the keyboard. I tried the emulated keyboard and these keys work as expected. Anyone else have this problem, and know what to do about it?
