My connections work across the house with no problem.  I'm not sure 
about 2-story houses and such.  I'm sure any kind of bluetooth 
connection is subject to all sorts of factors, as it's a radio.

As for the connection itself.  CoCoNet''s floppy disk routines are 
pretty rock solid.
