I'd be in for one or maybe two.
Would someone be able to write OS-9 drivers for it?Tony

Subject: [Coco] any interest in an 8MB ram card for COCO3?Hi all,
just a feeler here.
I happen to have a whole pile of static ram parts, 1 and 2MB each.
I also have a whole pile of CPLDs lying around.
Why not make those into something useful?
Anyone interested in a ram card based on SRAM for the COCO3?
Features-
* plug and play just like the others
* no need for a new refresh circuit (static ram used!)
* low power consumption, nice on the supply
* scalable from 2MB to 4MB to 8MB, as you wish
Note: 2MB card would use 2 1MB srams, while the 8 MB part would use 4
2MB parts.
Price could be something like 80$ for 2 MB, 100 for 4 MB and 120 for 8 MB.
Anyways, let me know. I have a second coco3 now, that will be the
"target" for my own version. I'll probably start thinking about the
schematic and layout regardless of interest. I'm I'm the only one
interested, then I guess I pay myself.
(quick side note, it would be easy to make this card with some flash
as well, don't know if that is of interest)
cheers, Steve
