I guess my os9boot file is too large.  I'll try to trim it down and 
see if that works.

Now the big question is why the string "error 237" can't be printed 
out.  My initial guess is that no text printing routines are 
available so early in the boot stage, but certainly the numbers "237" 
can be written to the screen by the same code that prints *m.  It 
turns out that I'm one of many who has asked what these strange debug 
codes are.  Oh well.  Without them, where would we be.
