Son, I'm not going to worry about it. If I reach 56 (less than a year and a half from now), I'll have the record for longevity for anybody with this Y-chromosome in recorded history. And by my standards, my life has barely begun. Ed started what some might call the personal computer industry, then pulled back and became a doctor. A profession I respect. No doctors in my family (a PhD does not make you a physician), just several nurses. Gram, Mom, an aunt I won't name lest I call up her spirit. No nurses in my generation, so I had to marry one, my third, La Esposa. (And my first wife has since become a nurse, but I can't remarry her legally, so the law can go eat its own leg, since we will remarry and La Esposa approves, which is all that matters). My body is deteriorating badly, I may need nurses. (two nurses is better than one). (My first wife is recently widowed, she was married to a guy closer to me than a genetic brother could be -- they introduced me to La Esposa (one of Mike's ex-lovers) when I came east almost two decades back). I grant neither any g-d nor government the authority to decide who or how many I can be married to, nor what genders (all of my wives over the decades have been heterosexual and so am I, but we've all experimented enough to make sure it's a preference, not a reflex).

Yeah, I'm a weirdo. Extremely aware of my mortality but will not get obsessed about my health. Would rather play with my computers and with the women I love (not necessarily in that order). Yeah, I take the medicine prescribed for the blood pressure. My favorite movies are "Mamma Mia" and "My Favorite Year" despite being a science fiction geek since before Star Trek premiered.
