Call me crazy..... I spent $35-$40 for a pak at the 17th(I think) Last CoCoFest. I don't recall the exact amount as I was in the auction frenzy, might have even been more.
It was to be autographed by Steve Bjork, that was in attendance. Steve told the story behind the pak, GREAT piece of history. Steve has some REALLY good history and stories, if you have never heard them! Ahhhhh, the fests. :)
It was fun, money well spent, all in the eyes of the beholder.
Regards,
Mark

BTW: I realize that this Ebay pak is different than what my experience was.

Pretty outlandish to ask US$30.00 for two CoCo game paks, maybe if they were
in an unopened box... maybe, and maybe if they actually were hard to find -
outside of the Hard Disk Interface Pak, I know of no other.
But then further reading down the auction text... "Downland sold for 71.50
in 1983". What's that? Yen? Mexican Pesos (it would have been really cheap
if that were the case at all)... then again, Downland appeared first in the
1985 catalog for a mere $24.95.
So I sent a message with a $1.00 offer on the auction to the seller... will
see what transpires next ;-)
