I will say 'ditto'
Had a GREAT time, way too busy, would have liked to have chatted with more. The fest goes way too fast.
We got back to Mpls around 10:30PM last night up at 5AM. I need to upack the truck tonight. Crew cab with 6' box and it was full. Came back with WAY more than I went down with! :) Big indicator of a GREAT fest for me. Sandy has learned to not object, just leave room for me Dear...... :)
As for the later in the year fest. I understand Glenside's reasoning. What I don't like is 1 1/2 years till the next one? :(
Could do one in 6months, then yearly. :)
Thanks again Glenside, great to see everyone again. Hard to focus on my real job after a weekend of so much fun!
Regards,
Mark

Subject: [Coco] CoCoFest Unwind
I've just completed my traditional "Monday morning after-the-Fest
unwind" here at Cloud-9 Lab South -- unpacking suitcases, putting
stock back on shelves, filing away trip receipts, etc.
In spite of the almost 6 hour delay on Friday leaving Lafayette, I
managed to make it to the hotel at a decent 6:00pm Friday evening.
From there it was non-stop CoCo.
I'll let others give their traditional fest report, but for those of
you missed it, this weekend's CoCoFEST in Chicago was a good show. In
addition to showcasing our latest products, Mark and I had a great
time visiting with everyone and catching up. It was particularly
poignant for me since I had missed last year's show due to the
American Airlines wiring harness grounding. I caught up with the
Glenside folks and my old Microware colleagues Allen Huffman and James
Jones; others that come to mind: Richard Crislip, Steve Bjork, Chris
and Nancy Hawks, John Linville, Wally Grossman, REVKAK, William Astle,
Jim Hathaway... I know I'm forgetting some names, but as always, I was
so busy there wasn't just enough time to thoroughly visit with everyone.
The weather was mostly sunny for the weekend despite the Saturday
clouds and snow that night. Honestly, it was a nice touch. Speaking
of the weather, there was talk of possibly having the fest later in
the year in 2010, around September or October. Hopefully this might
make it more accessible for those who cannot make it earlier in the
year.
All in all, a great time.
Regards,
Boisy G. Pitre
