Ah, ok. I took the number to be 22J.
In my view, you should not replace capacitors with higher capacities. Higher
*voltage* is ok, though. The capacity of the part is used for a reason.
That part of the circuit appears to be the power supply. I wonder if you
could do some surgery, and connect an external PSU to it? Some LCD monitors
I've seen have an external PSU (I have such a one).
Of course, you'd need to know the voltage(s) that are required to run the
monitor.

The number is the same as the one to the right (I mistakenly typed
left in my first post - damn dyslexia) - which is 223 above 3KV.
Should I just replace it or use a higher capacity part? All the
replacement caps are higher capacity than the originals. Also my
buddy is over and he's pretty pessimistic.
