[Coco] What do you make of this non-approved HSCREEN mode?

On my CM8 monitor, I see a dark gray background. On top of the screen I 
seen some small blue bands, about one every half-inch, going across the 
screen. The last 3 or 4 bands are of a lighter blue than the rest
