Either HDPE or UHMW plastic. HDPE is cutting board material and UHMW
is a nice durable low friction plastic that can be used for gears and
bearings. My best guess is it is cutting board material as it is very very
cheap to get and is very machinable. One inch thick one foot square is
$16.50 a sheet. One square foot at 3/4 inch is $12.15.
