reread the link: http://projecteuler.net/index.php?section=problems&id=9
it specifically states the values meet the following criteria.
A<B<C It does not state c > A+B
A+B+C=1000
A^2+B^2=C^2
when you find values fpr A, B, and C that meet these, you have to multiply them together (A*B*C) to obtain it's value. At least that is the way I understand it.
