I think the linux programme is called CIO (Copy Input to Output). Not sure
how it works, but you'd probably have to do something like this:
cio </t1 >/t2 &
cio </t2 >/t1 &
But would they stay synchronised? The programme itself would need to be
unbuffered so that it would be guaranteed to handly each character at the
time it arrives.
