John,
One problem I found with the DIN socket on the coco is that after a lot of
use, the tiny fork inside the socket holes become bent out of shape, and
don't make good contact.
Using a very small screwdriver blade, I prised the forks towards the centre
of the hole to make better contact. The screwdriver needs to be
approximately 1 millimetre in width. The one I have came in a set sold by
the 'Shack.
