I do a very simple non invasive setup on my coco3. I have a hi-speed smaller fan from an AMD socket7 cpu cooler sitting on top of the vents, closest to the power supply. 4 small rolled pieces of black electrical tape on each corner to keep it put on top of the coco. Then I took the two leads and hooked it to an old ac/dc cheap radio shack multi-voltage adapter. I can adjust the speed of the fan by changing the voltage switch, anywhere from 3v to 12v. around 5volts is a gentle breeze and nice and quiet. 12v is like a hoover vacuum sucking out any trace of heat. Its also easy to remove if needed and doesnt hack up or need any power from the coco. And I can turn it off completely if I dont want it on making noise. Theres a small pic here with it visible on my coco3...
