What exactly is a vacuum forming box and is that the method of making 
it, or what it does after you seal it shut?  :)  Sorry, I slept 
through that episode, so to speak.

The sheet metal design of the J & M controller I have is basically 
like a thin cardbox box made by forming 4 sides by making cuts, then 
standing the sides straight up.  The edges meet to form a perfect 
open box.  The lid is simply 2 90-degree folds for the lid that fits 
right over the bottom box.  This lid extends slightly over BOTH (not 
either, mind you) ends of the bottom box so that it doesn't fall into 
the box.  Perfect simple design, I think.  Not something I could 
perfect from home, but I'd use this case to show a metal shop how I 
want mine, just 1/2 the length.
