Wow. I never imagined in a million years that the mwave stuff would be
useful. I always had difficulty with 'em under Windows, with the
shipped software...

I doubt it too, but IIRC some external commands that would let the
terminal be redirected to a serial port back in the DOS days. I never
tried it, so I can't recall what those commands may be. Maybe one of
the third-party command.com replacements, like 4DOS (there was a
version supported under Windows 95, surprisingly), would support this?
