I wish my AMC (75 Gremlin) had an overdrive like that, it's got a switch
that disables o/d unless I'm in 3rd gear.

Thank goodness for short stroke motors :)

Those are neat cars, I have quit working on the AMC in favor of a Mercury
too, only mines a little newer. Because of gas prices I'm trying to get
an overdrive installed in it too, but unlike the one AMC used in the 70s
this one will have a govenor that controls when it engages, and I can
easily add a switch for first over :)
Just to keep this (sorta) computer related, this is my first e-mail
written using a real VT100 (I know, it's not a real computer at all :)
