[Coco] Glenside IDE board and CF Card

Hello Coco Nuts

I will be investing in a Glenside IDE board soon and intend on using this 
with a Compact Flash card (I will need to purchase a CF card reader from 
somewhere like Cloud 9).

Can anybody offer any tips or advice on how to make the CF card bootable, 
and to transfer .dsk images to it?

Do I need the Coco machine itself to do this, or can I do it via an 
emulator?
