Rumor has it that Gene Heskett may have mentioned these words:

>Is this an IIS server, or a linux boxen you're talking about?
I wouldn't mind knowing as well - I've got a lot of experience with Linux
boxen and could help out if necessary; haven't really touched IIS beyond
feeling "dirty" and saying "Eeeew." ;-)

Depends on who installed the software - if Roger installed it, there's not
much the hosting company can "guarantee" - but if the hosting company
offers it as a "usable service" and it's anything but, then there might be
hope...
Roger, the guy that runs the classic computer mailing list at
classiccmp.org (Jay West) co-owns a hosting company with reasonable prices
(usually dirt-cheap for anyone hosting anything "classic computer related."
IIRC, he's generally a *BSD shop; tho Linux is certainly welcome; I don't
know what he has available for the Winders environment, tho. You might want
to email him & see what he has to offer - - his email address is his first
initial and his last name, all lowercase at the domain previously mentioned
in this paragraph. ;-)
