So UC Santa Cruz offers a major in game design.  Robert A. Heinlein was right.  Colleges (especially those run by governments, but private schools aren't immune) nowadays really are hitting bottom.  (Heinlein's article about that was published about the time Donkey Kong first hit the arcades, UCSC was his model and where his literary archives are kept).
