Yes, they did.  
They also made early Dos compatable machines.  They were sold under their
own anme and at the aSears Stores, for a while.
The Service manager of the computer division (of V-Tech) was a member of
one of Glenside's sister clubs back in late 80's -early 90's, ICCCE, the
Illinois Color Computer Club of Elgin.
