Lucky.  I'm so broke right now, it's not even funny, but maybe after
new years I'll be able to spring for CoCo parts, and a CF adaptor is
at the top of my list.

What about a CF organized as HDB-DOS "floppy partitions"?  I
understand the power(*) of dd(1) -- it would need to know the length of
the file to extract (easy) and the offset into the media to start
saving at -- calculatable if you know how HDB-DOS set things up.  So I
guess my real question is, is that technical info included with
HDB-DOS?

(*)Some of it anyway, dd is one of those powerful commands that can do
just about anything, if you ask it the right way.

I am running ancient kernel that doesn't understand 0-based sector
numbering on floppies. :-(
