I dont have a scanner, but I have been imaging a lot of Rainbows on Disc and Tape and have offered them to him if he wants to put them on the project. I will soon be posting what I have and hopefully somebody will be able to fill in the gaps in my collection. Some of the discs were so damaged that I was unable to pull some. The document feeder idea is great. That would certainly speed things up.

I thought the contract he signed with Lonnie prevented him from making
this a community project?

Just a curiosity question here... is he scanning these things one page
at a time on a flatbed scanner?
I'm hoping for sanity's sake that he's got a scanner with a document feeder.
You should be able to scan a whole magazine in half an hour if you've
got the right tools for the job. If not maybe those interested in seeing
the project to completion should pitch in and pick up a more appropriate
scanner.

Hello,
Why not just have a request for all needed issues I use to have all of
them as well as Hot Coco but lost them in a move along with all my
Coco's. I am sure like me there are many Coconuts willing to lend out
issues who still have theirs.
Also why not see if RAINBOW magazine is willing to part with copies for
the project, maybe even offer to sell copies with their official seal
then maybe they would gladly help and make a few dollars. Just a few
ideas.

There is a master list on
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ColorComputer/database/Rainbow
Update it as desired if you are a member. Change the 'Yes/No' to Yes and
'My Name' to your name.
When Lonnie Falk was asked he said he kept one complete set but he couldn't
lay hands on them. I doubt he will sacrifice them for this.
