 Perhaps Diego could use a disk speed checker  ..... IF his drive is 
adjustable.

 Someone could offer up one with instructions?

  I liked the drives that had the spoke wheel thingy you just put under a 
fluorescent light and you could see if it was fast or slow, tweak it until 
it was in sync.
 They were fun back then. We felt as if we were "Computer Technicians".

 Oh... I suppose in those days we really were!
