[Coco] Using a CM5 on a COCO3

I've found a CM5 relatively cheap, but don't know if/how well it will work 
on a COCO3.
I seem top remember the CM8 for the coco, but no details.
Will the CM5 work on a coco3? How is the quality compared to a CM8?
