I remember a "Six Pack" that was made of flimsy cream-colored plastic,  could 
barely hold itself up when you shoved a Pak into it, used a wall-wart DC  
supply, and got so hot at one end that I thought the plastic would melt  away.
 
I doubt it was a Frank Hogg product -- his stuff was well built.  I'd  have 
to find my PBJ Word Pak (80 column adapter for Coco 1/2) to see if PBJ  
resorted to such shoddy construction, but I may have sold it already.   --Mike K.
