Programming an Nvidia GeForce 6800GT GPU for general purpose tasks 
(digital audio signal processing). Gosh, about 6 month ago I hadn't even 
  heard about OpenGl nor how to do 3D-graphics ;-). And since I've never 
been a gamer, I didn't know anything about that kinky 100 gigaflops 
horse I could plug in my rusty PC...
