Albert

Not a lot. The Color basic Rom Code 1.2 from $A000 to $BFFF has
about 10 bytes or so. The Extended Color Basic Rom is full and
Super Extended basic Rom has 1012 bytes free from $FA0C to
FDFF. Finally DOS 1.1 ROM has 167 bytes free.

Not really much room to do a screen type editor.

Now if you map the 8K space from $C000 to $DFFF as internal rom
and get rid of the author's picture you can recover about 7376
bytes. Otherwise you have about 1172 bytes give take a few. Could
be more depending on how much of the old DLOAD code is
patched and what isleft of it can be overwritten with a patch.
