OK, I just checked out the bit.listserv.coco at

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/bit.listserv.coco

and I joined the list using my GMail account which I don't 
care if it get's flooded with spam since GMail has it's 
own spam filter and of course, I have a 1G of storage.

I HAVE NOT migrated to the list nor do I really intend to, 
it's my intention to lurk and learn and see what happens.

I did notice a few off-topic posts like "What's this" and 
such, and while the spam may be reduced, the banner adds 
fill the void.  Maybe if Cloud Nine were a sponsor :)

If anyone wants to try what I did, but you don't have a 
GMail account, drop me a note and I'll send you an invite.
