In that case we should probably make a new project branched from sdcc so
that individual contributions can be made. The way Boisy decribed it,
they will commit a 6809 target if/when it is pretty much complete. So if
folks are just going to be contributing a little work here and there, it
would be more efficient to branch a new project now and fold it into
sdcc once something is relatively complete.

Open source only works if the code is available (and if there's one guy
that does at least 80%-90% of the work alone, in my experience).
