[Coco] HJL Keyboard in Coco3?

I've recently acquired an HJL keyboard in an old Coco
1, but am a bit uncertain about how to plug it into
the Coco3 slot --- I can't remove the keyboard ribbon
on the HJL from the female end that was plugged into
the Coco 1.

Does anyone have suggestions?
