My dad has a paper cutter like that. At least on his you have to press
buttons on opposite sides of the machine simultaneously to bring down
the blade. Not a lot of opportunity to take your finger off unless you
are happen to be that special combination of creative *and* stupid ;-)

There are those around that have the equipment and would do this work
given copies of the mag.
