[Coco] [Color Computer] DjVU Results

This article seems to be written by LizardTech's (future, perhaps)
competition. But it raises some questions about how open the djvu
standard is (although it does seem that LizardTech open sourced some of
their code).

Have you talked to the maintainers of the open source projects? Maybe
they can tell you more about how open the standard is and how they see
the politics of it.

I think there's some risk of going with a format other than PDF, simply
because djvu is so new. PDF is a published standard, it's had time to
settle, and there are several free implementations around. But I can see
that you need to weigh that against cost savings of only having to
produce one dvd per customer for the whole set.
