AlmostOnLine
I've been having problems sending eMails to folks using AlmostOnLine for a
couple of years.
Also, AOL users can't use other POP accounts properly while almost online.
For the life of me, I don't understand why people use AOL, except for the
fact that it is easy to get started. One of my girlfriends moved to Nebraska
and didn't know how to find an ISP, so she used the AOL disk to get started.
Since then, she is paying about ten bucks a month more than she should, and
she doesn't get all her emails.
If she uses a POP account anywhere else, AOL makes the stuff wait a few
days before AOL will deliver it. I have no idea how that is done.
