This is amazing. Is the CoCo 3 prototype in your hands now? Are there any
plans on getting it powered up?
Do you know what it means *If* this prototype is similar in functionality to
the final design? There is no GIME "chip" on this board - but rather a
whole lot of discrete logic chips.
With a bunch of good photographs of the board (top and bottom), in which we
could read the numbers on the chips and follow the traces, it would be
possible to decode the hardware design of the GIME.
Having a blueprint of the GIME would be useful for future hardware and
emulation projects (and not forgetting to mention it might verify Nick's 256
color mode to exist :) !)
