OOps, that should have read: US$0.77 to AU$1. And a US gallon is 3.78 
litres, so.... I'm paying... lesse now....US$2.90 per US gallon.

Sorry for the confusion: The gallon here was 4.5 litres, obviously different 
from the US one. Of course we are (almost) thoroughly metricated here :)
