[Coco] Moving from SyQuest EZ-135 to CompactFlash

Okay gang, here's what I am up to. I have all my old OS-9 stuff on a
SyQuest EZ-135 hard drive (you know, a better ZIP drive, though SyQuest
went out of business). Since this platter may give out at any time, I
want to move it all to solid state ("no moving parts and still
currently being made") technology. Using the Cloud-9 IDE interface
with the CompactFlash card in the side, I now am copying files from my
kenton SCSI EZ135 over to my CompactFlash card.

It's very very cool. Except for the weird crashes due to driver
problems with my bootfile.

But I digress.

When I have this done, I want to put the CF card into my Mac and read
it out as a disk image, usable by emulators. Anyone know if this can
be done? I don't know if the Mac or PC can use a non-formatted image.
I seem to recall my old PC laptop could NOT touch the OS-9 EZ135 disk
-- I had to create a new track 0 that looked like a DOS track 0 and
then I could read the image into a PC, and restore 0 later. Wow, I'd
forgotten about that mess.

Tips appreciated.
