Good points. As for me, I charge actual shipping costs. I only charge for packaging when I am out of boxes (has happened only once so far).

The padded envelope is up to $0.99 now. I was shocked when I had to buy one to ship out a CF card last week. LOL

As far as supporting local businesses, I agree except where local businesses inflate the price way too much (ex. Where I used to live, they sold $9 NICs for like $70, way, way too high). Where I am at now there are *no* local businesses to buy from for computers and electronics so I am currently reduced to eBay and Pricewatch.

Is there a solution to this ebay chaos?  Yes, everybody needs to get off 
their butts and go down to their LOCAL businesses and support them by 
buying whatever you need that they offer.
