[Coco] dskini.exe problems

Coming in a little late in this thread, I think I can tell you the
problem. Bill in his wonderful wisdom placed a new thing in windows 2000/XP
that really will make things difficult for our world. These versions of
windows do not allow threads or programs to directly read/write to hardware
ports or make direct calls to BIOS routines. The only way around this issue
at this time is to have a NON Windows 2000/XP system write your disks until
either myself or a Windows Guru writes a driver that supports the direct
calls to the BIOS, which means making the intel chip swap back to non
protected mode. Microsoft makes this very difficult under 2000/XP since it
is so called secure (ya right) and does not allow user programs to swap back
and forth as with win98.
