[Coco] Away Feb. 2-6; auto-rejects; Princeton what?

Hi all,

I will be away February 2-6, and any new member requests will probably have
to wait until I get home.

Also, the new virus and clever spammers have increased my administrative
email load, and I am thinking about auto-discarding non-member posts. This
would mean the occasional valid post gets discarded. I don't want to
auto-bounce, because that would alert the spammers of a valid address. I
will turn on auto-discard tomorrow morning if no one objects.

Finally, I'm not quite following the Princeton archive discussion. I have
created standard text or mbox files of the messages. Who is doing what with
the Princeton archives before mine start?

Dennis

My email addresses are long-standing and published, and have
sometimes been "joe-jobbed" to send spam and viruses. Spam
emails do not come from me. Also, you will never get email from
me with an attachment unless you are expecting one. Even so,
be sure to scan for viruses. These are interesting times.
