Mark,

It took 22 minutes to FORMAT. It punched out
the sector numbers no matter if VFY=1
or VFY=0, didn't matter. I tried my older
FORMAT the one where all numbers go
into the same screen location and tried the
FORMAT that came with l2v320, no difference
in numbers displayed.

Something else,  NitrOS-9 crashed while
I was doing a /r0 fillup. Since there's
auto-refresh (cas before ras) always in
all banks of DRAM,
I could reboot, iniz r0, format /r0 until
it started making numbers then I ^C'd it.
DIR /r0 still showed all files intact!
And I went on with the fillup.
