OK.  Yes, I did find the Make syntax very strange at first, and way  too 
dependent on white space (tabs and such).  Funny, once I got used to it  it didn't 
seem so strange.  Just unique, that's for sure.  But then,  please don't ask 
me to whip up a Makefile from scratch, without an old one to  use as a guide 
:-)
